Statistics: Russia’s Mar platinum group metals output falls 2.1%

MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russia’s output of unrefined and semi-refined or powder platinum and platinum group metals fell by 2.1% on the year but grew 29.8% on the month in March, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Monday without disclosing absolute figures.

Silver output fell by 7% on the year but went up 3.6% on the month in March.

In January–March, the output of platinum and platinum group metals increased 0.3% on the year, and of silver increased 20.2%.
